The Belgian waffles brought joy to this city.

The city is small, yet large at the same time. The buildings are covered with ancient history and culture only the mind can comprehend when they are seen in person.

The three forms of transportation run together and share streets, making a biker fearful a train is going to hit that at any second, or a car, because both beat out a bike any day.

French fries, the God’s sent to Earth, according to the Belgians occupying Antwerp, and the traveler must agree, until they pull out mayonnaise as the topping for fries.

Mayo was the holy grail for those sliced potatoes, but an American makes sick faces while watching the overpowering white sauce drown the fries, seeing how they have no way to get out of the pool.

The art, much more gothic and creative than an American can see in their country, brings so much curiosity to the viewer when they see the sidewalk covering a child and his pet dog like a blanket.

The churches and gothic architecture of the downtown and government buildings brings attention, but the story of the city gains more attraction as it chooses to be a similar one to David and Goliath.

A man and a giant fought for control of this tiny piece of land, now known as Antwerp, Belgium.

The man slays the giant, and cuts off his hand, the hand is then thrown across the dark river and lands in the city center of the newly-built Antwerp.

The brick streets, mixed with tire tracks and train tracks, crowd the city and keep the pace and speed high up for the pedestrians.
